Medway Community Day Event – Everyone Welcome! (media release, May 10, 2017)
May 10, 2017, London, ON – Join us on Saturday, May 13 as we plant native trees and shrubs to increase the vegetation cover in London’s Medway Valley Heritage Forest Environmentally Significant Area (ESA). This event is the perfect way to get your family involved in doing something great for the local environment.
We will also have an electro-fishing demonstration to show everyone what lives in the creek (if water levels in Medway Creek permit).

Where: Medway Valley ESA – south of Sunningdale Road, just east of Wonderland Road. Walk south from Sunningdale along the paved path and you’ll find us just past the first footbridge! Or you can walk north up the valley from Fanshawe Park Road to the planting site.
