Perth Children's Water Festival Returns to Stratford for a Day of Family Fun – Volunteers Needed!
On Sunday, May 24, families are invited to dive into a world of water at the Perth Children's Water Festival, taking place at Lower Queens Park in Stratford from 1 – 4 pm.
Children, youth, and the young-at-heart will enjoy an afternoon of hands-on activities focused on water conservation, protection, and science. Highlights include live reptile shows by Scales Nature Park (1:30 pm and 3 pm), a casting exhibit with Fishing Friendzy, and more than 20 interactive activity stations.
"The festival is a great opportunity for families to connect with nature and learn about the importance of water in a fun, engaging way," said Vanni Azzano, Water Festival Coordinator, Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA).
Community members are encouraged to follow the event's Facebook page for updates and details. Those interested in volunteering can complete an application form online or contact Vanni at [email protected]. High school students are welcome to participate and earn volunteer hours.
