  • Date: Saturday, September 24
  • Time: 10 am to 2 pm
  • Location: Wildwood Conservation Area, 3995 Line 9, St. Marys, ON N4X 1C5

“We’re working with our community partners and planning a day full of outdoor learning that people will really enjoy. We would especially like to invite all those community members that have been instrumental in helping others through the pandemic,” said Erin Dolmage, UTRCA Community Education Technician.

The Celebrating Natural Connections event is intended to commemorate the continued efforts of frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and celebrate the natural spaces that are so important for our physical and mental health. Local artists and municipalities are involved, as well as hiking, naturalist, and angler clubs.

Go to www.thamesriverevents.ca to see the complete list of Celebrating Natural Connections events taking place across the Upper Thames watershed as well as details and maps. This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada.

Some event stations generously sponsored by TD Friends of the Environment.
