Perth Children’s Water Festival Family Event on May 29th

Families are invited to the first in-person Perth Children’s Water Festival on Sunday, May 29, from 1-4 pm, at the Falstaff Family Centre! This free event features hands-on, family friendly activities that highlight and celebrate the importance of water.

“Community partners from across Perth County have worked together to create fun and informative resources about the importance of water. We are thrilled to showcase these activities at the first in-person Perth Children’s Water Festival, where we can come together as a community and celebrate water!” said Linda Smith, Water Festival Coordinator for the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA).

Water Festival activity stations include Stream of Dreams community art, a fire truck, a hydro-vac truck, a hydration station, and other activities based on water conservation, protection, science, and technology.

Bookings are recommended for families who want to take part in the Stream of Dreams community art activity station, where they will paint a fish made of recycled plastic for an on-site art mural: Eventbrite.
