Fanshawe Nature School

Learn and grow in nature through play and exploration! Every trip to Fanshawe Nature School, Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, will be its own adventure. The Fanshawe Nature School program provides opportunities for participants to spend time in and with nature, using the principles of Forest and Nature School. These principles focus on providing repeated outdoor experiences that are participant led, inquiry based, emergent, play and place based. Activities may include songs, stories, play, exploration, journaling, sit spots, shelter building, hiking, using tools, and more!

Owls and Owlets

Owls are excellent caregivers, supporting their Owlets until they can fly on their own. Owlets are curious, playful, and resilient children. At Fanshawe Nature School, Owls and Owlets experience nature together through observation, play, and exploration. They will discover new interests, practice taking risks, and enjoy time spent outdoors.
