Dorchester Watershed

The Dorchester watershed is one of 28 subwatersheds within the Upper Thames River watershed. The Dorchester watershed encompasses approximately 137 square kilometres with 102 sq km within the Municipality of Thames Centre, 19 sq km within the Township of Zorra, and 16 sq km within the City of London.

This watershed reaches as far north as Thorndale Road (Road 84) and 19th Line, and as far south as Elgin Road and Mossley Drive. The most eastern and western boundaries are Hamilton Road and Putnam Road (17th Line), and Meadowlily Road and Hale Street, respectively.

This watershed includes the following tributaries to the South Thames River: Caddy Creek/Munn Drain, Caddybott Drain, Day-McLeod Drain, Dorchester Swamp Creek (Dorchester Pond Drain), Lawson Drain, Harris Connors Drain, Crocket Munro Drain, and Shaw Drain.
