Birdability Event in London! (media release, October 21, 2021)

Bird Friendly London and the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority are pleased to present Birdability on Sunday, October 24 at 10 am.

Everyone is welcome at this birding walk! This free event is open to beginner birders, expert birders, and everyone in between, as well as families.

  • When: Sunday, October 24, 10 am – 11:30 am
  • Where: Kilally Meadows Environmentally Significant Area. The trail starts at the parking lot at the east end of Windermere Road. See location on Google Maps.
  • Event and Parking Cost: Free
  • Public Transit: The 16 and 34 Bus routes stop at Adelaide and Windermere, Plan Your Trip
  • Book Specialized Transit Services: Make your booking on Thursday for Sunday service.

This event is part of Birdability Week 2021 (October 18-24). Birdability Week is a celebration of birders who may have disabilities or health concerns. It’s an opportunity to share resources and ideas to help the birding community be accessible, inclusive, and welcoming to everybody and every body!

Birdability Week is an annual event held in October and supported by National Audubon. It was inspired by #BlackBirdersWeek, Latino Conservation Week, and Let’s Go Birding Together.

This free event is being put on in partnership with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) and the Bird Friendly London team.
