Celebrate the Thames at this free community event! We have lots of fun, interactive activities planned for the whole family:
- Live birds of prey shows
- Help plant a pollinator garden in River Park
- Paint decorative stakes to mark new planting areas
- Two Row Creeations Indigenous station
- Learn about local aquatic species at risk from UTRCA biologists at the fish and mussel education and ID station
- Explore native turtle species and efforts to protect threatened populations
- Oxford County Library bookmobile
- Floodplain simulator and river safety puzzle
- And more!
Special note: From 9:00-10:00 all are welcome to attend an Indigenous Welcome and Smudge with Elder Eric Martin and Two Row Creeations.
Come hungry and enjoy the Lions Club BBQ (by donation)!
Parking: please park at 186 Brock St. or at the Zorra Municipal Office.
