Celebrate National Forest Week at London Forest Fest! 🌳
Gather your family and friends for a day of creativity, discovery and all things trees at London Forest Fest on Saturday, September 26, from 10 am to 2 pm at Westminster Ponds (944 Western Counties Road)!
This free community event has something for everyone:
– 10-10:30 am: Start the day with an Indigenous opening ceremony, led by Anishinaabe Elder Mary Lou Smoke
– 10:30 am and 12:30 pm: Get up close with birds of prey during shows by the Canadian Raptor Conservancy
– 11 am: Discover the interactive, giant Biinaagami Map
– 11:30-12:30 pm: Enjoy a hike to visit London’s first designated Heritage Tree
– 1-1:45 pm: Explore the forest on a Tree Hike with Brenda Gallagher, UTRCA
– All day: Watch a chainsaw carving demonstration by Mike’s Wood Solutions, and join games and activities with local organizations working to protect, plant and celebrate trees throughout the Forest City

Come celebrate the forests that make London a greener, healthier and more vibrant place, and discover the people and organizations helping them thrive!
