Summer at Wildwood Conservation Area! 

Wildwood Conservation Area (CA) is fully embracing the summer season with a variety of planned programming designed to educate and entertain visitors. Alongside its scenic trails, reservoir, and campground, the CA has reintroduced popular presenters while also incorporating new activities aimed at engaging audiences of all ages. 

The following special events are planned at Wildwood CA: 

  • Good Morning Canada Hike: Saturday, June 28 at 10 am 
  • Scales Nature Park: Saturday, July 5 at 10 am 
  • Kids, Cops and Canadian Tire: Saturday, July 5 at 11 am to 1 pm 
  • Speaking of Wildlife: Saturday, July 12 at 10 am 
  • Wild Ontario: Saturday, July 19 at 10 am 
  • Canadian Raptor Conservancy: Saturday, August 2 at 10 am 

"We're looking forward to our programming this summer; our weekend presenters always attract a large crowd. We've also added hikes, crafts and educational activities to add to the visitor experience!" says Alison Miller, Wildwood CA Superintendent.  

Programming is free to attend. Regular gate fees apply for day-use or camping. Wildwood CA is located outside of St. Marys with 387 campsites. The camping season runs until October 19, 2025.
