The Trout Creek Watershed Action Group (WAG) is overseeing, from a community standpoint, the development of the Trout Creek Community-based Watershed Strategy. This group represents the broader community and acts to liaise between the technical team and other members of the community.
The WAG members were recruited though presentations made to local community groups and municipal councils, through media releases and a website. The WAG meets regularly to identify potential restoration activities and sites and prepare funding applications. It will also oversee the implementation of the plan, including the community liaison role and ongoing evaluation.
Presentations to the WAG

- Trout Creek Forest Conditions Recommendations (May 2009 meeting)
- UTRCA Flood Control Programs (August 2009 meeting)
